Season Two
It was definitely my day today. Working the first gymnastics class at Chelsea Piers, my second season of working NYFW, new stationary, and some free Dunkin. The day started a little rocky, when I didn’t realize the dining hall wasn’t open until 10:30. So my day didn’t start off with coffee and food. However it got so much better after. So much that I forgot about my disappointment over a croissant. Work went smoothly, I only had two classes and it was pretty routine. Gymnastics is the same no matter where you go, that’s what’s so great about it, the same drills and the same warm ups. It makes the transition to a new gym easier. After work I changed quickly and then hailed a cab to bring me to uptown to intern a show. I helped backstage, seating people, and then I was the only intern who got to watch the show. After I wrapped up jewelry, put clothes back on hangers and got loads of freebies from the salon and show itself. One of my coworkers wanted to go thrifting after so I headed out with him to the lower west side. Then he had to leave for Brooklyn and I decided to go to papyrus where I found some chic stationary for only six dollars! I made a quick stop at Dunkin for some much needed coffee. The woman in front of me was screaming at the cashier when I walked in, she left her coffee on the counter and stormed out. I made a quick joke about her rudeness and the cashier then gave me some free munchkins to go with my coffee. Life is good. Now tonight I may go out with my cousin. Work tomorrow again. This place is getting even crazier, as if that was possible. Wish me luck. xoxo
