The day started in somewhat of a rush. Waking up, throwing clothes on (a prepared outfit, picked the night before) grabbing coffee and heading off to class. For some odd reason, I felt more awake this morning than I have for the past few weeks. Class flew by and I found myself in my dorm, with a massive amounts of samples. I searched through my treasure trove of beauty products and decided on Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation in 42 Beige Rose. The foundation is smooth, water based, providing full coverage and a very light feel. I figured since I took the time to apply the foundation why not try some other products that haven't been used in while as well. It felt good to apply makeup and experiment. Lately, being on a tight schedule my makeup routine has been sticking to the basics and sometimes there is no makeup applied at all. I can;t wait to try the other Chanel foundation in order to decide on the one i'll buy as a full size. I have a Lord and Taylor gift card in transit and when it arrives, I may have to head over to 5th Avenue. Have a beautiful day dolls. xoxo
On Sunday, after work, me coworker and I decided to head up-to Bryant Park to the French festival. There we sampled cheese, received complimentary makeup applications and got a load of free samples. It was nice to spend the day stress free and enjoying the nice weather. On the lawn of the park there was a hot air ballon and concert tent.
Saturday night, my friend and former co-worker Marisa was in town. We met up at grand central after her concert and walked around midtown. Then we stopped at the Roosevelt Hotel for appetizers and drinks, accompanied by talking, as expected. It was so nice to see an old friend and catch up with her on everything that has been going on!
