Friday my friends and I decided to have a pizza making night. We rented a movie, took over the dorm kitchen and went to work. There was a little snafu in the beginning though. When the dough was bought we didn't realize it was frozen. So the idea to microwave the dough was tried, and it ended up cooking the pizza dough. A small trip to a pizza place was made, new dough rolled, and the pizzas sent into the oven. It look pretty delicious, no?
Thursday nights, were probably not made for going out, but why should that stop anyone? Last night my friends and I went dancing. A much needed release. However the lack of sleep that comes with showering at 3am and waking at 8am is not particularly fun. Overall we had a really good time together and tonight we are making pizzas!
On a side note it was my friends birthday so I surprised her with a card and some Macaroons! It was her first Macaroon ever and she loved it! xoxo Headed for home late Monday night, I hoisted my many bags over my shoulders and braced myself for the rush of Manhattan. Traveling light is always easier in the city, the more you bring the slower you become. However, I like having options when I dress so I set out with my clothes like a camel storing water ready for its long desert adventure, coffee in hand. As I was walking onto the 1 train to head up to Times Square, the little jingle sounded and I hurried into the subway car. However the many adults in front of my person decided they did not wish to condense any more leaving my shoulders hanging out of the open doors. The subway doors closed on my shoulders, crushing my frame and all my bags. I became more forceful pushing through the people so I did not experience the feeling of basically becoming juiced again. The car rocked back and forth, hot in my Donna Karen sweatshirt and seven inch Steve Madden wedges. Smart travel wear, obviously. I got off the 1 and raced the other commuters to catch the shuttle over to grand central.
