To look a lot like THE HOLIDAYS! I absolutely adore the holiday season in New York City. Correction, I adore the pre-holiday season when all of the decorations are up and the tourists have not flooded into Midtown. The shops are up in Bryant Park, with all sorts of unique little booths, containing trinkets and treasures. The decorations come out dressing all of the hotels in their finest attire. The shops have gorgeous and festive window displays, with unveiling ceremonies; while one is sipping champagne the curtains are dropped. The tree goes up, oh the tree, the glorious tree and the symbol of the holidays in New York. Everything is on sale, this is one of my favorites. There are Santas and bells clinging while others sing or hum a festive tune. But most of all, the lights, all of the lights everywhere, and the feeling of this beautiful aura. The Holidays in New York are almost inexplainable, you can try to describe them, but there is absolutely nothing like a walk down fifth avenue in midtown at this time of year.
Tonight I did a little pre-christmas shopping and some birthday shopping for my little sister! I wonder whats inside of the boxes! xoxo
