Last night was so much fun! I had the wonderful opportunity of attending a personal makeup how-to lesson with my beautiful best friend and her mom! We went to FACE Stockholm in Rhinebeck and one at a time sat down with the fabulous makeup artist Rosalie. She asked us what we wanted to learn, improve on or had questions about, then we set to work. She did half of our face, explaining as she went, and then helped us through the other half. Not only did I end up looking amazing, I learned new beauty tips and had a whole new learned routine! We also left with a little card noting each of the products used. It was such a customizable experience and we had so much fun!
I learned how to contour without looking block-y (my term) and how to do brow shadowing without looking like a toddler got ahold of a brown pencil. I really got a lot out of the experience! Plus now I have a whole list of my beauty products on my wish list. Lucky me - the big 19 is right around the corner!
The products were fantastic, a little expensive, but very nice and my friends mom was gracious enough to buy me the toner! It was such a great night followed by some thai for dinner (our favorite).
Where is your favorite beauty bar?
Happy Applying. xoxo
