Finally we settled in Bryant Park to watch the movie. It did rain a bit, (to explain the umbrellas) but it was really great weather otherwise. The people watching was, as expected, superb. The fashions were both inspiring and horrific. That was followed by more shopping. (What else!) The night came to a close with a nice walk back to Grand Central.
I always try to embrace a spontaneous trip! Last night turnt out to be amazing and such an adventure. My friend Amanda and I started the night by heading down to Bryant Park for a movie night . We got downtown macaroons, which differ from my usual place. I swear by Laduree macaroons, but this place was quite delicious. Then a quick visit to my school in August, FIT! After that we came across the museum of sex. Which had a very, interesting, gift shop. They were selling walk of shame soap and all kinds of blushing worthy items. After that risque excursion we did a little shopping and found the neatest staircase in the back of one of the little boutiques.

Today I received a surprise gift in the mail from my Great Aunt! She had heard that I will be going to Paris in the beginning of August and got me a vintage journal to record my travels!
Part of our senior week trips included a dinner cruise around manhattan. Obviously with my love of all things luxery I decided to go. The cruise was fantastic, dinner dancing and amain views. My outfit wa a one-of-a-kind made by my friend who designed for My Catwalk for a Cure fashion show. The dress is beautifully made with a high low hem and an open back, it is the apex of elegance. Paired with a red lip an glitter heels the outfit definite spoke for itself. |
