There are infinite benefits to living in New York City. Especially living so close to the water on the west side. After a photo shoot today I walked out to the edge of the piers with my friend and enjoyed the amazing, colorful lights across the water. There was a hazy almost red fog above the buildings and the black water beneath. It was nice to walk around with a friend at night, seeing the beautiful and bone chilling cold west side. After our shoot and our little excursion we headed back to 27th street.
Little did I know my night would be flled with even more adventure. My friend Lizz summoned me last minute for some food. We went to a local pizza place and caught up about our day with a giant projector spilling out sports games. Then not ready for the adventure to end we braved the puddles in search of some fro-yo only to find ourselves in Dunkin right before closing. As we were walking we could see the Empire State Building lit up pink and red in honor of the impending holiday. We were only a half hour away. Our adventure took us many places and then we ended up as we always do right back on 27th. Upstairs we gossiped and laughed and right out of the window of her 9th floor dorm you could see the Empire State Building again. More apparent now after the fog had rolled away.
xoxo loves.
