TRADITIONAL Vs Creative Resumes
Resumes, you know, those pieces of paper you send out showing your best side. That 8x11 work you've spent hours on, re-arranging, changing fonts, spell checking and re-checking. The sheet of wood pulp that will hopefully grant you a nice salary and some health insurance. Well kids, i've been noticing some new styles and formats of resumes that have caught my eye and my thoughts. Although my internship counselor ripped mine apart to make it the cookie cutter resume she desired, I can;t help but admiring the more creative looks.
These more creative layouts allow room for expression, more organization or even some infusion of personal design. These resumes grant space for drawn logos and other self made art.
So I wanted to put it up to my readers, which style do you like better? Do you think companies will appreciate a more creative layout or should we all stick to the traditional format that has been used for years. I pulled these resumes and templates off google images - which one is your favorite?
Happy Typing. Xoxo
