Last summer I had taken a class at LIM college, and came to know some incredible people. The following fall, a couple of us gained a chance to intern NYFW. Coraliz came all the way from Florida and Tyler from North Carolina to stay in New York while I commuted down to visit and work. I still keep in touch with them and when Coraliz told me she would be in town for the day, you can imagine my excitement! I met her on 5th in front of Louis Vuitton and Tiffany and Company, so very classy. Accompanied by her boyfriend and best friend who now goes to NYU our group started our trek up Madison Avenue in search of our one true love, Laduree Macaroons. We caught up, gossiped and I discovered I had a lot in common with Margaret, who goes to NYU. The Macaroons were exquisite and central park was even better. On the walk back we did some window shopping and reminisced about our adventures the previous year. Margaret and I agreed to hangout. (I love making new friends!) Soon it was time to say goodbye to my friend but we decided next time she is in town the three or four of us will go to the MET Ballet and maybe stay a night in the Waldorf Hotel.
What better way to wind down than some macaroons and a cup of Tazo tea? xoxo
