I had the amazing opportunity to sit down with the Head of Marketing for IWC, a swiss luxury watch company. My interview went splendid and I of course wanted to share it with all of you! I met her at the office and then we headed to a conference room to conduct the interview!
The building was like something out of my dreams. TWO, yes two elevator banks of six each. I took one up to the fifth floor to check in with the double receptionists and wait in the stylish yet minimalism lounge waiting area. Then Hind came down and we went up the the seventh floor.
She was amazing, smart, funny and stylish. I absolutely love her job and everything she gets to do in her career. She really is a role model for me and getting an inside look at her position was not only helpful but extremely interesting! I never realized how valuable relationships were to companies and she really made this clear to me. Hind has a way of talking that puts you at ease, she is very genuine and the more I interviewed her, the more I wanted to know. I heard about her days at FIT and then her internships and jobs. Then we got to talk about the store she designed on Madison Avenue. I saw this store being built so it was a fun topic for both of us to talk about. The store is beautiful and showcases the watches in an elegant and luxurious style. It was truly an amazing experience.
