Before I talk about my weekend in Boston, I wanted to do a post about my parents. Today fresh off the bus from Boston I went to meet them and two of my sisters for dinner. They were al in Manhattan for the day and stayed long enough to spend some time with me. We all met up at Ruby Foo and it was a wonderful dinner. However it wasn't the dinner that really made my night. The fact that I got to see my mom, something I thought wouldn't happen until April and my sisters as well. We were all laughing and having fun, and it was nice to spend some time with my dad as well, because usually our coffee talks go by quick.
My parents are the reason behind everything I do and everything I accomplish. They both are such intelligent, strong, loving and beautiful people. Without them I wouldn't have a love for New York City, or have such vast knowledge of it already at 18. They have encouraged me to achieve and do my best at everything. Even when things didn't work out they were completely supportive of me and my decisions. I can laugh with my parents, and have serious conversations with them. I always remind myself how lucky I am to be raised by people like them. I talk to my mother almost every single day and miss her just as much. She makes me laugh, understands me and keeps me level headed. (Sometimes, I can be a bit dramatic with life.) She never judges me and just helps me discover who I am and what I am doing in life. My dad is always here for me and ready to listen if I need to talk. They both are such amazing people and I am so thankful to have them in my life for support, love and most of all fun! They taught me to have fun with whatever I am doing, find the excitement and joy in everything.
Coming back from Boston and seeing them was such a great ending to this weekend. It is something I really needed. I got to laugh with them, talk about our lives and my mom got me LUSH! Plus I saw her new haircut and it is gorgeous!!! Have a great night loves, i'll blog about Boston later.
xoxo
