Today was a Friday well spent. After my morning class I met up with a friend who lives in Brooklyn and commutes to FIT. We walked around Chelsea looking for a spot with good vibes. On 23rd street there were little bakeries, pubs and then we found it, a doughnut place. Serving warm coffee and mouth watering treats, we sat down and ended up talking for hours. The conversation, amazing. The Place had doughnut pillows of all different colors up on the walls and the seating was covered in doughnut patterns and shapes. There were so many different options to choose from but I ended up getting a classic vanilla bean.
Then after work I headed downtown to see a production of the play A Blue Window at the New School for Drama. It was unexpectedly funny and very well done. Jane had never had a New York Pretzel before so I got her one off of a street cart! My friend and I then headed up to Times square around midnight to top off our friday and sat on the red steps until about 1am. A truly beautiful weekend lies ahead xoxo.
