Living in NYC you would expect anyone to naturally be crazy busy during this time of year right? Well for some of us this craziness is an all year long production of events, and to do lists. Sometimes it seems as if there is just so much to do! Don't get tangled in your to-do list, try to take a step back every once in a while. Now i'm not encouraging becoming a Netflix zombie (this almost happened to me). However do try to make some time for yourself. Read a book or a magazine, maybe even take an hour nap, anything to clear your mind of the stress you will accumulate, this is college after all.
Now if you're anything like me, and you try to take a nap for the first time or relax, you will start thinking about all the work you could be getting done in that hour. Well you have to try to push those thoughts out of your head. You need to be healthy before anything gets done and if your mental health is dwindling, so will your work.
During the holiday season try to take a breather once in awhile. I'm looking forward to my annual Christmas massage with my best friend. We get massages in-between Christmas and New Years and it really helps with the chaos. So don't Catwalk on a tight rope, jump off, relax and then catwalk anywhere you goddamn want to.
Strut your stuff. xoxo
